SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Post-election deadlines; provisional ballots and absentee ballots. Extends from the third day after the election to the first Monday after the election the deadline by which a person voting provisionally due to lack of an accepted form of identification at the polling place has until to submit a copy of one of the accepted forms of identification to the electoral board in order to have his vote counted. The bill also provides that absentee ballots that are returned to the general registrar after the closing of the polls on election day but before noon on the first Monday after the election and that are postmarked on or before the date of the election shall be counted if the voter is found entitled to vote.
