SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Blind or vision impaired; rehabilitative manufacturing and service industries; sales of goods. Updates terminology regarding manufacturing and service industries operated by the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired for the employment of individuals who are blind or vision impaired. The bill repeals the requirement that public and private entities must register with the Department in order to authorize their identification of goods as being made by the blind and repeals the prohibition on and penalties for falsely identifying goods for sale as having been made by individuals who are blind.
