Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 23.1-2900.1 as follows:

§ 23.1-2900.1. Virginia Community College System continued as Virginia College System.

The Virginia College System, formerly known as the Virginia Community College System, is continued, and wherever "Virginia Community College System" is used in this Code, it shall mean the Virginia College System. The Chancellor of the Virginia College System, is continued, and wherever "Chancellor of the Virginia Community College System" is used in this Code, it shall mean the Chancellor of the Virginia College System. The State Board for the College System, formerly known as the State Board for Community Colleges, is continued, and wherever "State Board for Community Colleges" is used in this Code, it shall mean the State Board for the College System.
