Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 6 of Chapter 11 of Title 10.1 a section numbered 10.1-1134.1 as follows:

§ 10.1-1134.1. Definitions.

As used in this article, unless the context requires a different meaning:

"Orchard" means agricultural land located in the Commonwealth consisting of at least one contiguous acre dedicated to the growing of crops from trees, bushes, or vines, which crops are used or are intended to be used for commercial purposes.

"Vineyard" means agricultural land located in the Commonwealth consisting of at least one contiguous acre dedicated to the growing of grapes that are used or are intended to be used for commercial purposes.
