Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Department of Environmental Quality be directed to seek from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency an exemption from the federal reformulated gasoline program for the sale of conventional [ , ethanol-free ] gasoline within that portion of the City of Hopewell that is located west of Interstate 295.
