SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Crohn's disease, colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome; identification cards and information. Directs the Department of Health to develop a process for issuing identification cards to individuals diagnosed by a health care provider as having Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or any other inflammatory bowel disease which shall include information about the symptoms of such conditions and the need for emergency access to restroom facilities of individuals diagnosed with such conditions. The bill also requires the Department to make information about Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and other inflammatory bowel diseases available to the public via the Department's website.
