SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Certain adoption fees and expenses; income tax deduction and credit. Creates, for taxable years beginning on and after January 1, 2017, a refundable income tax credit for mandatory fees paid to the Commonwealth related to the adoption of a child within the Virginia foster care system and a deduction for any other costs or fees associated with the adoption of such child.
