Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 24.2-947.4:2 as follows:

§ 24.2-947.4:2. Prohibited contributions to candidates.

No candidate to the General Assembly or statewide office shall solicit or accept campaign contributions from any public service corporation, as defined in § 56-1.
