Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 15.2-2903.1 as follows:

§ 15.2-2903.1. Estimate of fiscal impact of refugee relocation on localities.

A. Upon written request by a locality, the Commission shall provide an estimated fiscal impact of the relocation to the locality of individuals admitted to the United States as refugees on the delivery of core services. The Commission shall provide the estimated fiscal impact within 45 days of the receipt of the request.

B. The Department of Planning and Budget shall provide assistance to the Commission as required.
