HOUSE BILL NO. 1708 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Education on January 30, 2017) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Filler-Corn) A BILL to require the Board of Education to consider the inclusion of industry certification credentials in the Standards of Accreditation.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Board of Education (the Board) shall consider for inclusion in the student outcome measures included in the Standards of Accreditation the number of industry certification credentials, as defined by the Board, obtained by high school students.
