Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That §§ 23.1-2606 and 23.1-2703 of the Code of Virginia are amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 23.1-2606. Purpose and courses of study.

The curriculum of In order to promote the liberal and practical education of the industrial classes in the several pursuits and professions in life and to fulfill the purposes of the federal Morrill Land-Grant Acts of 1862 and 1890 (7 U.S.C. § 13), the University shall embrace and prioritize such courses of study as relate to agriculture and the mechanic arts without excluding other scientific and classical studies and including military tactics.
