HOUSE BILL NO. 1414 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Education on January 30, 2017) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Austin) A BILL to require the Department of Education to review multipart Standards of Learning assessment questions.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Department of Education shall collaborate with the existing educational advisory committees in the Commonwealth that advise on student assessments to review multipart Standards of Learning assessment questions and determine the feasibility of awarding students partial credit for correct answers on one or more parts of such questions.
