An Act to require certain neighborhood organization proposals for the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit to provide information; report.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That any neighborhood organization, as that term is defined in § 58.1-439.18 of the Code of Virginia, submitting a proposal to the Superintendent of Public Instruction for an allocation of tax credits pursuant to § 58.1-439.20 of the Code of Virginia for the program year beginning July 1, 2017, shall include with its proposal a list of all localities in the Commonwealth in which the neighborhood organization provided services during the program year beginning July 1, 2016. The Department of Education shall aggregate the information received pursuant to this act and submit it to the Chairmen of the House Committee on Appropriations, the House Committee on Finance, the Senate Committee on Finance, and the Joint Subcommittee to Evaluate Tax Preferences no later than December 1, 2017.
