SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; JLARC; coastal flooding adaptation and resiliency report. Directs the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission to study the ongoing efforts throughout the Commonwealth with regard to coastal flooding adaptation and resiliency and to (i) assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the Commonwealth's coastal flooding and adaptation development programs; (ii) assess how effectively the state and local governments develop, manage, and oversee coastal flooding and adaptation practices and strategies; and (iii) examine best practices and strategies used by the public and private sectors in other states and other countries to manage water through successful coastal flooding and adaptation strategies.
