That effective no later than July 1, 2018, the Virginia Information Technologies Agency shall assist localities with the procurement of an online software solution for the purpose of allowing localities to maintain a searchable fiscal transparency website that shall include checkbook information for expenditures and revenues at the local level. Such procurement shall be in consultation with the Virginia Association of Counties and the Virginia Municipal League. The Auditor of Public Accounts shall assist as needed with the requirements for the procurement.
