SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Utilization of service disabled veteran businesses by state agencies. Requires every state agency to include as a component of any small business enhancement measure pursuant to § 2.2-4310 of the Code of Virginia a goal of a minimum of three percent utilization of service disabled veteran businesses as defined in § 2.2-2001 of the Code of Virginia for the procurement of information technology goods and services. The bill defines "information technology" and "state agency."

SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Utilization of service disabled veteran businesses by state agencies. Requires every state agency to include as a component of any small business enhancement measure implemented by the Governor pursuant to subsection C of § 2.2-4310 of the Code of Virginia a requirement for a minimum of five percent utilization of service disabled veteran businesses as defined in § 2.2-2001 of the Code of Virginia.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Virginia Information Technologies Agency; utilization of service disabled veteran businesses. Requires the Virginia Information Technologies Agency to include as a component of any small business enhancement measure implemented by the Governor pursuant to subsection B of § 2.2-4310 of the Code of Virginia a requirement for a minimum of five percent utilization by the Virginia Information Technologies Agency of service disabled veteran businesses as defined in § 2.2-2001 of the Code of Virginia.
