SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Local option health insurance plan. Allows the Department of Human Resource Management to develop a plan under the local option health insurance plan with benefits similar to those in the state employee health insurance plan and that uses a single rating group. This bill incorporates SB 384.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Local option health insurance plan. Requires the Department of Human Resource Management to consider all participants in the local option health insurance plan in one pool for purposes of establishing contribution rates and accounting for claims and contributions for participants.
