SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Purchase, etc., of flamethrowers; penalty. Criminalizes the purchase, possession, or transportation of a flamethrower, which is punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor. The bill defines "flamethrower" as any portable device specifically designed or intended to emit or propel a burning stream of combustible or flammable liquid a distance of at least 10 feet.
