SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Public and private elementary and secondary schools and institutions of higher education; selection of for-profit motor carriers. Requires each public and private elementary and secondary school and institution of higher education in the Commonwealth to (i) exercise due diligence in the selection of for-hire motor carriers, as that term is defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration pursuant to federal regulations, to transport individuals to and from school-sponsored events and (ii) document the results of such exercise of due diligence in writing.
