SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Virginia Board for Contractors; methamphetamine manufacturing site remediators; disclosure. Provides that a license as a contractor from the Board for Contractors (the Board) is required in order to perform the remediation of residential property used to manufacture methamphetamine. The bill also (i) clarifies the exemption from contractor license requirements for janitorial, cleaning, or sanitizing services incidental to the construction, removal, repair, or improvement of real property and (ii) adds to the disclosure requirements regarding the history of a property known to be a methamphetamine manufacturing site that the remediation of such property has been conducted by a contractor licensed by the Board.
