SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Kinship foster care; waiver of foster home approval standards. Allows local boards of social services, subject to approval by the Commissioner of the Department of Social Services, to grant a waiver regarding the Board's standards for foster home approval, set forth in regulations, that are not related to safety.
