SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Health insurance; dispensing of generic prescription oral contraceptives. Requires health carriers with health benefit plans that cover generic prescription oral contraceptives to reimburse their dispenser for dispensings intended to last for a 12-month period. The measure does not apply to the state employee health benefits plan. The measure applies to health benefit plans delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed in the Commonwealth on and after July 1, 2016.
