SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Unlawful inducement; contracts; payments for goods or services; penalty. Provides that a person who, through the use of force, fraud, deceit, duress, or other form of constraint, induces or solicits any adult to enter into a contract or agreement or for payment for goods and services is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. The bill also provides that such actions may be subject to the Virginia Consumer Protection Act.
