SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Cover sheets; multiple deeds or instruments concerning the same interest in real property; certificates of satisfaction. Allows one cover sheet to be used for multiple deeds or instruments filed concerning the same interest in real property. The bill further allows one cover sheet to be used where a deed or other instrument has multiple titles. The bill provides that, where one cover sheet is required, only one filing fee may be assessed by the clerk. Finally, the bill requires only one certificate of satisfaction to release liens when full or partial payment has been made on a debt secured by one or more instruments.
