SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Bicycle helmets required to be worn by riders. Requires every rider of a bicycle or electric power-assisted bicycle less than 18 years of age to wear a helmet. Currently, localities may by ordinance require riders of bicycles, electric power-assisted bicycles, electric personal assistive mobility devices, or toy vehicles who are 14 years of age or younger to wear helmets.
