SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Copies of statements in support of arrest warrants. Provides that if an officer authorized to issue criminal warrants does not issue an arrest warrant in response to a written complaint, the written statement shall be returned to the complainant.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Copies of statements to law-enforcement officers or magistrates. Provides that any person who provides a written statement or who makes an oral statement that is reduced to writing and signed by such person to any law-enforcement officer or magistrate shall, upon request, be given a copy of the statement no later than three business days from the date of such request.
