RESOLVED by the Senate, That the following person is hereby nominated to be elected to the Court of Appeals of Virginia as follows:

The Honorable Kenneth R. Melvin, of Portsmouth, as a judge of the Court of Appeals for a term of eight years commencing  [ February 13, 2016 March 3, 2016 ] .
