Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Department of Medical Assistance Services shall contract with a vendor to (i) locate unreported assets of deceased Medicaid recipients and (ii) initiate recovery from estates for which the value of recovering  the assets is likely to exceed the cost of recovery.
