SENATE BILL NO. 361 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee on Local Government on January 19, 2016) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Senator Favola) A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 15.2-961.2, relating to tree conservation ordinance; notice.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 15.2-961.2 as follows:

§ 15.2-961.2. Conservation of trees; notice of infill lot grading plan.

An ordinance adopted pursuant to § 15.2-961.1 may allow a locality to post signs on private property that is proposed to be redeveloped with a single family home that notifies the public that an infill lot grading plan is pending for review before the governing body.
