Celebrating the life of Leslie Ann Goldman.

WHEREAS, Leslie Ann Goldman of Henrico County, a respected real estate professional and a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend, died on February 20, 2016; and

WHEREAS, a native of Rochester, New York, Leslie Goldman grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she made many lifelong friends at Lindbergh High School; she relocated with her family to Cumberland, Maryland, where she graduated from Bishop Walsh High School; and

WHEREAS, after earning a bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University, Leslie Goldman enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a realtor in Richmond; over the course of her 30-year career, she was admired for professionalism and positivity and helped countless local residents achieve the dream of home ownership; and

WHEREAS, Leslie Goldman never met a stranger and brought joy to everyone who knew her with her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor; and

WHEREAS, a woman who lived her faith through her actions, Leslie Goldman enjoyed fellowship and worship with the community as a devout member of Hope Church, where she inspired her fellow parishioners through her energy and passion for service; and

WHEREAS, Leslie Goldman will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her beloved husband, Jim; son, Thomas, and his family; her husband’s children, Daniel and Lauren, and their families; her parents, Louis and Theresia DiPasqua; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Leslie Ann Goldman; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Leslie Ann Goldman as an expression of the General Assembly’s respect for her memory.
