Celebrating the life of Benjamin Thomas Osborne.

WHEREAS, Benjamin Thomas Osborne, a beloved member of the Independence community, died on January 7, 2016; and

WHEREAS, a native of Galax, Benjamin Osborne attended Radford University; he never met a stranger and made many good friends throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, Benjamin Osborne pursued a career as a carpenter and worked at WRO Construction and Masonry; and

WHEREAS, Benjamin Osborne brought joy to others through his bright smile and resilience; his generosity was unmatched, and he never hesitated to help someone in need; and

WHEREAS, Benjamin Osborne will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his parents, Randy and Leslie; siblings, Will, Jack, Luke, and Carlie, and their families; grandmother, Louise; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Benjamin Thomas Osborne of Independence; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Benjamin Thomas Osborne as an expression of the General Assembly’s respect for his memory.
