Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 57-2 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 57-2. Rights asserted therein reaffirmed.

The General Assembly doth now again does hereby declare again that the rights asserted in the said act § 57-1 are of the natural and unalienable rights of mankind and this declaration shall remain the policy of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
