16102506DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Department of General Services, with approval of the Governor pursuant to § 2.2-1156 of the Code of Virginia, is hereby authorized to convey to the County of Shenandoah the Shenandoah County Farm or Beckford Parish Glebe Farm, located on the north side of State Route 654 about 4,000 feet east of the junction with U.S. 11 near Maurertown in Shenandoah County and comprising 220 acres, more or less. The conveyance shall be made without consideration. This conveyance shall be for the purpose of benefiting the citizens of Shenandoah County.
§ 2. The conveyance shall be made in a form approved by the Attorney General. The appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute, and deliver such deed and other documents as may be necessary to accomplish the conveyance.
