HOUSE BILL NO. 340 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Natural Resources on February 18, 2016 (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Orrock) A BILL directing the Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services to adopt regulations for private animal shelters.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services shall adopt regulations that determine whether a private animal shelter meets the purpose of finding permanent adoptive homes for animals.
