16103116DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 29.1-340.1 as follows:
§ 29.1-340.1. Hunting license required to hunt from waterfowl blind; penalty.
A. It is unlawful for any person to hunt waterfowl from a blind without first obtaining a hunting license pursuant to § 29.1-303. Upon applying for a blind license issued under this article, a person shall provide proof acceptable to the Department that he possesses a valid resident or nonresident hunting license.
B. Any person who violates this section is guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor.
