SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Absentee voting; reason for application. Removes the requirement that a person applying for an absentee ballot because of an obligation occasioned by his religion provide information regarding the nature of such obligation. Instead, he is required to state that he has an obligation occasioned by his religion.
