SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Exceeding speed limit; fine. Repeals reckless driving for exceeding the speed limit as a Class 1 misdemeanor and provides a mandatory minimum fine of $500 for a speed of 20 miles per hour or more in excess of the applicable maximum speed limit.
