SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Character education; summer youth development academies. Requires the Department of Education to include a summer youth development academy for female middle school students that focuses on career and life goals, self-esteem, self-image, and other positive attributes in its curricular guidelines for school divisions to use in establishing a character education program.
