SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Mismanagement of grants; penalty. Makes the mismanagement of a state or federal grant by any person who is the director or manager of an agency, organization, or other entity, public or private, that receives a state or federal grant that provides funding affecting the health, safety, or welfare of its recipients a Class 1 misdemeanor. The bill provides that the mismanagement must result in permanent revocation of the grant funding.
