SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Board for Barbers and Cosmetology; regulations for nail technicians. Expands the definition of nail care and provides that in adopting regulations for the practice of nail care, the Board shall ensure that the requirements for licensure of nail technicians are equivalent to or greater than the requirements of other jurisdictions that adjoin the Commonwealth. The bill further requires the Board to enter into agreements with such other jurisdictions for the recognition of Board-licensed nail technicians.
