SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Alcoholic beverage control; operation of government store by distiller licensee. Removes certain conditions and restrictions on the appointment of a distiller licensee or its officers and employees as agents of the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board for the sale of spirits, manufactured by or for or blended by such licensee on the licensed premises, at government stores established by the Board on the distiller's licensed premises.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Alcoholic beverage control; operation of government store by distiller licensee. Allows the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to appoint a distiller licensee or its officers and employees as agents of the Board for the sale of spirits, manufactured by or for, or blended by such licensee on the licensed premises, at government stores established by the Board on the distiller's licensed premises, provided the agency agreement prohibits such agents from selling spirits to mixed beverage licensees.
