SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Persistently non-accredited schools; Board of Education guidance. Abolishes the Opportunity Educational Institution and permits the Board of Education to intervene in persistently non-accredited schools or the school divisions in which such schools are located to help ensure that an educational program of high quality is provided for students at such schools by providing guidance and recommendations on matters that affect instruction in such schools.
