SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Overtaking stationary mail vehicles; reduce speed. Requires the driver of any motor vehicle overtaking a stationary vehicle used to collect or deliver the United States mail that is displaying a flashing, blinking, or alternating amber light to proceed with due caution and maintain a safe speed.

Approaching stationary mail vehicles; reduce speed. Requires the driver of any motor vehicle approaching a vehicle used to collect or deliver the United States mail that is displaying a flashing, blinking, or alternating amber light to proceed with due caution and maintain a safe speed. A violation of this provision is punishable as a traffic infraction.
