SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Commission on Federal Oversight; report. Creates the Commission on Federal Oversight, consisting of eight legislative members representing the House of Delegates and the Senate, to meet no less than four times a year, two of which meetings shall be with the members of the Virginia Congressional Delegation. The Commission shall address economic and public policy issues for which both the federal and state governments have responsibility with members of the Virginia Congressional Delegation. An executive summary detailing the activity and work of the Commission must be submitted to the General Assembly and the Governor annually. The Commission shall not become effective unless an appropriation effectuating the purposes of the act is included in the appropriation act passed during the 2015 Regular Session of the General Assembly that becomes law. The Commission shall expire on July 1, 2018.
