SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 296 Confirming appointments by the Senate Committee on Rules.   Agreed to by the Senate, February 10, 2015 Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 17, 2015  

RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly confirm the following appointments made by the Senate Committee on Rules:

1. Appointment to the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System Authority Board pursuant to § 23-50.16:5 of the Code of Virginia:

The Honorable Ryan T. McDougle, Post Office Box 187, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111, Member, for a term of three years beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2017, to succeed the Honorable A. Donald McEachin.

2. Appointments to the Virginia Conflict of Interest and Ethics Advisory Council pursuant to § 30-355 of the Code of Virginia:

John Bennett, 5657 Saint James Court, Richmond, Virginia 23225, Member, for a term of two years beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2016, to fill a new position.

The Honorable John H. Chichester, 290 Crowder Point Drive, Reedville, Virginia 22539, Member, for a term of four years beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2018, to fill a new position.

Bill Leighty, 3200 Norfolk Street, Richmond, Virginia 23230, Member, for a term of four years beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2018, to fill a new position.

The Honorable Thomas K. Norment, Jr., Post Office Box 6205, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188, Member, for a term coincident for the term for which he has been elected to the Senate of Virginia, to fill a new position.

3. Appointments to the Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission pursuant to § 3.2-3102 of the Code of Virginia:

The Honorable Charles W. Carrico, Sr., Post Office Box 1100, Galax, Virginia 24333 for a term coincident with his term of office in the Senate ending January 13, 2016.

The Honorable Frank M. Ruff, Jr., Post Office Box 332, Clarksville, Virginia 23927 for a term coincident with his term of office in the Senate ending January 13, 2016.

The Honorable Ralph K. Smith, Post Office Box 91, Roanoke, Virginia 24002 for a term coincident with his term of office in the Senate ending January 13, 2016.
