SENATE BILL NO. 874 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee on Education and Health on January 22, 2015) (Patrons Prior to Substitute--Senators Cosgrove, Barker [SB 757], Miller [SB 897], Garrett [SB 984], and Stuart [SB 995]) A BILL to create uniform student eligibility for an expedited retake of a Standards of Learning test.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Board of Education shall promulgate regulations to provide the same criteria for eligibility for an expedited retake of any Standards of Learning test, with the exception of the writing Standards of Learning tests, to each student regardless of grade level or course.
