AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE

A BILL to allocate funding for the Hampton Roads Veterans Care Center project.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. In order to expedite the completion of the Hampton Roads Veterans Care Center project, $32.7 million shall be made available, from such bonds identified and authorized by the General Assembly in a separate act adopted by the 2015 Session of the General Assembly for such purpose, as a priority for the Hampton Roads Veterans Care Center project.

§ 2. In addition to such priority allocation of bonds under § 1, the General Assembly hereby appropriates $60.7 million in nongeneral fund authority for the Hampton Roads Veterans Care Center project. The source of such nongeneral funds shall be federal funds.

§ 3. The Hampton Roads Veterans Care Center project is authorized up to a 230-bed facility.
