15103218DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 28.2-823.1 as follows:
§ 28.2-823.1. Labeling of Virginia crab meat.
One hundred percent of the meat in a container represented or labeled as Virginia crab meat shall be from crabs taken from or caught in Virginia waters. Any person violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor.
