HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 275 Offered February 23, 2015 Commending the Honorable J. Samuel Glasscock. ---------- Patron-- Jones ----------

WHEREAS, the Honorable J. Samuel Glasscock was honored by the Paul D. Camp Community College Foundation with the creation of the Sam Glasscock-Fred Quayle Annual Fund in 2014; and

WHEREAS, as a member of the Paul D. Camp Community College local board, Samuel Glasscock has developed policies to enhance educational opportunities for students throughout the service region and give them the tools and knowledge to become effective leaders in their careers and communities; and

WHEREAS, the Sam Glasscock-Fred Quayle Annual Fund will help provide Paul D. Camp Community College with supplemental funds to ensure that students continue to receive a high-quality educational experience; and

WHEREAS, the Sam Glasscock-Fred Quayle Annual Fund was named in honor of J. Samuel Glasscock and Frederick M. Quayle to recognize their diligent service to the Paul D. Camp Community College; and

WHEREAS, Samuel Glasscock will receive recognition for his dedicated support for Paul D. Camp Community College at a fundraising dinner in 2015; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the Honorable J. Samuel Glasscock hereby be commended for his legacy of service on the occasion of the creation of the Sam Glasscock-Fred Quayle Annual Fund; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Honorable J. Samuel Glasscock as an expression of the General Assembly’s admiration for his numerous contributions to the Paul D. Camp Community College.
