Commending Christine Lawson.

WHEREAS, for 25 years, Christine Lawson has ably served and supported the Lake Barcroft Association in Fairfax County as assistant lake manager and lake manager; and

WHEREAS, the Lake Barcroft community shares its name with a privately owned lake, which is known for its excellent fishing; the community is administered by the Lake Barcroft Association, where Christine Lawson has worked for more than two decades; and

WHEREAS, Christine Lawson began her career with the Lake Barcroft Association as assistant lake manager in 1980; she served in that capacity until 1989, when she became lake manager; and

WHEREAS, in the course of her duties, Christine Lawson has diligently updated and maintained the resident database, managed the annual billing cycling and collections, distributed beach tags and boat registration decals, and helped organize Lake Barcroft Association events; and

WHEREAS, Christine Lawson’s leadership is evident in the many strong relationships she develops with residents and her tireless efforts to strengthen the Lake Barcroft Association; and

WHEREAS, during her tenure as lake manager, Christine Lawson has been the heart of the community, upholding the special spirit of the lake through her compassion, dedication, and hard work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Christine Lawson for her exceptional service as assistant lake manager and lake manager of Lake Barcroft Association; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Christine Lawson as an expression of the General Assembly’s admiration for her many contributions to the Lake Barcroft Association.
